Every year, the QCAE hosts a Night of Thanksgiving and Praise. Psalm 100:4 says, "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name." From this wonderful scripture, we learn gratitude opens Heaven's gates and praise keeps them open. This night is meant to switch our focus from complaining to giving God thanks and glory. The service blends great praise and worship music with prayers of thanksgiving. Pastors and leaders from area churches lead us in prayer, reminding us of all we have to be thankful for, such as education, food, shelter, freedom, our pastors and churches, and all the modern conveniences we take for granted every day.
